The privacy policy describes the rules for processing information about you, including personal data and cookies, on our website.

  1. General information This policy applies to the website operated by EDAX-GROUP SP. Z O.O. with registered office at Kujańska 26, 77-400 Złotów, Poland, and acting as the personal data administrator. The operator’s email contact address is The website uses personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Selected data protection methods used by the Operator The login and personal data entry areas are protected by transmission layer security (SSL certificate). As a result, personal data and login information entered on the website are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the destination server. Personal data stored in the database are encrypted in such a way that only the Operator possessing the key can read them. This ensures that the data is protected in case the database is stolen from the server. User passwords are stored in a hashed form. The hashing function operates in one direction only, making it impossible to reverse its operation, which is currently the standard for storing user passwords. Regular software updates are an essential element of data protection, particularly concerning the software components used by the Operator to process personal data.

Your rights and additional information on data usageIn some situations, the Administrator has the right to disclose your personal data to other recipients if it is necessary to perform the contract concluded with you or to fulfill the obligations incumbent on the Administrator.     Your personal data processed by the Administrator will not be stored longer than is necessary to perform the activities related to them specified by separate provisions (e.g., accounting regulations). With regard to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.

    You have the right to request from the Administrator:

    • access to personal data concerning you,
    • rectification of data,
    • erasure of data,
    • restriction of processing,
    • and data portability.

    You have the right to object to the processing referred to in point 3.3 c) with regard to the processing of personal data for the purpose of the Administrator’s legally justified interests, including profiling, provided that the right to object cannot be exercised if there are important legally justified grounds for the processing, overriding your interests, rights, and freedoms, in particular, establishing, investigating or defending claims.

    You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, regarding the actions of the Administrator.

    Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for the Service to function.

    Automated decision-making, including profiling, may be taken with respect to you in order to provide services under the concluded contract and for direct marketing purposes by the Administrator.

    Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of the provisions on the protection of personal data. This means that we do not transfer them outside the European Union.

    1. Information in forms

    The Service collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if they are provided.

    The Service may record information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).

    In some cases, the Service may record information facilitating the linking of data in the form with the user’s e-mail address filling out the form. In such a case, the user’s e-mail address appears inside the URL of the page containing the form.

    The data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of a particular form, e.g., to carry out the service request process or commercial contact, registration of services, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly inform what it is for.

    1. Administrator’s logs

    Information about users‘ behavior on the Service may be subject to logging. This data is used to administer the Service.

  4. Essential marketing techniques The Operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic through Google Analytics (Google Inc. based in the USA). The Operator does not transmit any personal data to the service operator, but only anonymized information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s device. Regarding user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool: The Operator uses remarketing techniques, allowing for the adaptation of advertising messages to the user’s behavior on the website, which may give the impression that the user’s personal data is being used to track them. However, in practice, no personal data is transmitted from the Operator to advertising operators. The technological condition for such activities is the use of cookies. The Operator uses Facebook pixel. This technology causes Facebook (Facebook Inc. based in the USA) to know that a registered user is using the Service. In this case, it is based on data for which Facebook is the administrator, and the Operator does not provide any additional personal data to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s device. The Operator uses a solution to study user behavior by creating heat maps and recording behavior on the website. This information is anonymized before being sent to the service operator so that they do not know which specific individual the data concerns. In particular, passwords and other personal data are not recorded. The Operator uses a solution to automate the Service’s actions in relation to users, e.g., sending an email to the user after visiting a specific subpage if the user has consented to receive commercial correspondence from the Operator. The Operator may use profiling within the meaning of personal data protection regulations.

Cookies (so-called „cookies“) are computer data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the Service User and are intended for using the website pages of the Service. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time of storing them on the end device, and a unique number.
